Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of IrH(diene)L2 compounds via methoxyiridium complexes: Catalysts for hydrogen transfer reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity of IrH(COD)L 2 complexes in hydrogen transfer reactions from alcohols to cyclohexanone is described, and the related AsPh 3 ) 2 complexes have been prepared from iridium chloro-diene compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unusual 1‐Alkyne Dimerization/Hydrogenation Sequences Catalyzed by [Ir(H)2(NCCH3)3(P‐i‐Pr3)]BF4: Evidence for Homogeneous‐Like Mechanism in Imidazolium Salts

TL;DR: In this article, a double insertion/C-C coupling sequence was found to be the major reaction of t-BuC≡CH under conditions of homogeneous hydrogenation, whereas that of PhC=CH produced styrene and ethylbenzene as major products.
Journal ArticleDOI

A highly efficient Ir-catalyst for the solventless dehydrogenation of formic acid: the key role of an N-heterocyclic olefin

TL;DR: A sturdy iridium complex that features a PCP ligand based on an N-heterocyclic olefin shows remarkable activity for the solventless dehydrogenation of formic acid as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidative-Addition Reactions of Diiodine to Dinuclear Rhodium Pyrazolate Complexes.

TL;DR: The pyrazolato (Pz) rhodium(I) complexes result from the reaction of [{Rh(&mgr;-Pz)(CO)(2)}(2)] with the appropriate L ligand in a trans:cis ratio ranging from 60:40 (L = CNBu(t)) to 95:5 (P(p-tolyl)(3)).
