Journal ArticleDOI

Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl-iridium(III) complexes with pyridylamino ligands: synthesis and applications as asymmetric catalysts for Diels-Alder reactions.

TL;DR: The aqua complexes [Cp*Ir(pyam)(H2O)][SbF6]2 6-10 are enantioselective catalysts for the Diels-Alder reaction between methacrolein and cyclopentadiene and the molecular structure of the complex has been determined by X-ray diffractometric methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancing the hydrogen transfer catalytic activity of hybrid carbon nanotube-based NHC–iridium catalysts by increasing the oxidation degree of the nanosupport

TL;DR: In this paper, CVD-grown multiwalled carbon nanotubes were purified by applying four different treatments with increasing oxidation severity, which results in progressive oxygen functionalization of the surface along with introduction of an increasing quantity of defects on the carbon-nanotube walls.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unprecedented Hybrid Scorpionate/Phosphine Ligand Able To Be Anchored to Carbosilane Dendrimers

TL;DR: The synthesis of a novel hybrid pyrazolate/phosphine anionic ligand [CH2=CHCH2B(CH2PPh2)(pz)2]- is described, which has been linked to the periphery of a carbosilane dendrimer, resulting in the polyanionic d endrimer [Li(TMED)]4.
Journal ArticleDOI

C-H bond activations by new labile η6-arene complexes of iridium

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors thank the Direccion General de Investigacion Cientifica y Tecnica for the support of this research (Project Nos. PB94-1186 and PB95-0318).
