Geometrical structure and ultraviolet finiteness in the supersymmetric σ-model

TL;DR: In this paper, a complete geometrical classification of supersymmetric σ-models is given, and it is shown that a particular class of these models is on-shell ultraviolet finite to all orders in perturbation theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

The background field method and the ultraviolet structure of the supersymmetric nonlinear σ-model

TL;DR: In this paper, the ultraviolet counterterms of the supersymmetric nonlinear σ-models in two space-time dimensions are investigated in order to verify conclusions of a recent argument based on differential geometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three-loop finiteness in Ricci-flat supersymmetric non-linear σ-models

TL;DR: Using the generalized form of the renormalization group equations for supersymmetric non-linear σ-models, the background field expansion, and Kahler differential geometry, it was shown in this paper that all supersymmetric nonlinear models defined on Ricci flat manifolds are on-shell ultraviolet finite at the three-loop level.
