Regolith depth, mobility, and variability on Vesta from Dawn's low altitude mapping orbit
Brett W. Denevi,E. I. Coman,David T. Blewett,D. W. Mittlefehldt,Debra Buczkowski,J. P. Combe,M. C. De Sanctis,Ralf Jaumann,Jianguo Li,S. Marchi,Andreas Nathues,Noah E. Petro,C. M. Pieters,Paul M. Schenk,Nico Schmedemann,S. Schroeder,J. M. Sunshine,David A. Williams,Carol A. Raymond,Christopher T. Russell +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used Framing Camera (FC) images acquired by the Dawn spacecraft from its low-altitude mapping orbit (LAMO) of 210 km (pixel scales of ~20 m) to characterize regolith depth, variability, and mobility on Vesta, and to locate areas of especially thin regolith and exposures of competent material.

Vesta's Pinaria region: Original basaltic achondrite material derived from mixing upper and lower crust
Lucy A. McFadden,J. P. Combe,Eleonora Ammannito,Alessandro Frigeri,Katrin Stephan,Andrea Longobardo,Ernesto Palomba,Federico Tosi,Francesca Zambon,Katrin Krohn,M. C. De Sanctis,Vishnu Reddy,L. Le Corre,Andreas Nathues,Carle M. Pieters,Thomas H. Prettyman,Carol A. Raymond,Christopher T. Russell +17 more
TL;DR: The Pinaria region of Vesta spanning a portion of the rim of the Rheasilvia basin is bright and anhydrous reflectance spectra, absorption band centers, and their variations, cover the range of pyroxenes from diogenite-rich to howardite and eucrite compositions, with no evidence of olivine in this region as discussed by the authors.
Composition and Mineralogy of Dark Material Deposits on Vesta
Ernesto Palomba,J. Ph. Combe,T. B. McCord,M. C. De Sanctis,Eleonora Ammannito,Andrea Longobardo,Federico Tosi,Fabrizio Capaccioni,David T. Blewett,Ralf Jaumann,Harry Y. McSween,Carol A. Raymond,Vishnu Reddy,Dewight Williams,Christopher T. Russell,Dawn Team +15 more
TL;DR: Palomba et al. as mentioned in this paper presented the Dawn Team at INAFIAPS in Rome, Italy, with the goal of being the first team to win a world title in the sport of boxing.

Chondritic Models of 4 Vesta: Comparison of Predicted Internal Structure and Surface Composition/Mineralogy with Data from the Dawn Mission
Michael J. Toplis,H. Mizzon,Olivier Forni,Marc Monnereau,J. A. Barrat,Thomas H. Prettyman,Harry Y. McSween,Timothy J. McCoy,D. W. Mittlefehldt,M. C. De Sanctis,Carol A. Raymond,Christopher T. Russell +11 more
TL;DR: For example, visible-IR spectra of Vesta obtained by ground and space-based telescopes are remarkably similar to laboratory spectra measured on meteorites of the Howardite-Eucrite-Diogenite clan (HED), leading to the paradigm that the HEDs came from Vesta.
