Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the human cumulus cell transcriptome during final follicular maturation and ovulation
Gil M. Yerushalmi,Mali Salmon-Divon,Yuval Yung,Ettie Maman,Alon Kedem,Libby Ophir,Olivier Elemento,Giovanni Coticchio,M. Dal Canto,M. Mignini Renzinu,Rubens Fadini,Ariel Hourvitz +11 more
TL;DR: Using global transcriptome sequencing, a library of genes regulated during cumulus expansion and oocyte maturation processes was generated, suggesting that unique noncoding RNA transcripts may contribute to the regulation of cumulus Expansion and oocytes maturation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the miRNA regulators of the human ovulatory cascade.
Gil M. Yerushalmi,Mali Salmon-Divon,Libby Ophir,Yuval Yung,Micha Baum,Giovanni Coticchio,Rubens Fadini,Mario Mignini-Renzini,M. Dal Canto,Ronit Machtinger,Ettie Maman,Ariel Hourvitz +11 more
TL;DR: The linkage bioinformatics analysis between the libraries of the coding genes from the preliminary study with the newly generated library of regulatory miRNAs provides a comprehensive, integrated overview of the miRNA-mRNA co-regulatory networks that may play a key role in controlling post-transcriptomic regulation of the ovulatory process.
