Grain growth for astrophysics with discontinuous Galerkin schemes
TL;DR: A high-order solver based on the Discontinuous Galerkin method that conserves mass to machine precision and allows to compute accurately the growth of dust grains over several orders of magnitude in size with a very limited number of dust bins is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the settling of small grains in dusty discs: analysis and formulas
TL;DR: In this paper, the theory of dust settling for small grains is revisited, when gas stratification, dust inertia and finite correlation times for the turbulence should be handled simultaneously, and a balance of forces and distributions at steady-state are derived.

Szulagyil,Stéphane Udry,Francois Wildi +69 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the multiple stellar systems observed within the SpHere INfrared survey for Exoplanet (SHINE), searching for substellar companions to young stars using high contrast imaging.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, a wide binary composed of a white dwarf (WD) and a companion of a spectral type earlier than M 0.95 micron was found to have a higher temperature and then shorter cooling age.
