Journal ArticleDOI
Ellagic acid ameliorates oxidative stress and insulin resistance in high glucose-treated HepG2 cells via miR-223/keap1-Nrf2 pathway
Xiaoqin Ding,Tunyu Jian,Yuexian Wu,Yuanyuan Zuo,Jiawei Li,Han Lv,Ma Li,Bingru Ren,Lei Zhao,Weilin Li,Weilin Li,Jian Chen +11 more
TL;DR: The effect of EA on oxidative stress and insulin resistance in high glucose-induced T2DM HepG2 cells is investigated and the role of miR-223/keap1-Nrf2 pathway in system is examined to explore the possible mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Total sesquiterpene glycosides from Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) leaf alleviate high-fat diet induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease through cytochrome P450 2E1 inhibition.
Tunyu Jian,Xiancan Ao,Yuexian Wu,Han Lv,Ma Li,Lei Zhao,Tong Bei,Bingru Ren,Jian Chen,Weilin Li +9 more
TL;DR: It was showed that TSG significantly reduced the body weight and fat deposition in the liver of NAFLD mice and reduced alanine aminotransferase activity as well, and TSG was found to suppress the expression of cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) and the phosphorylation of c-jun terminal kinase (JNK) in NAFLd mice.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flavonoids Isolated From the Flowers of Limonium bicolor and their In vitro Antitumor Evaluation.
TL;DR: The preliminary structure–activity relationship analysis suggests that the 3-O-glycosylation moiety in natural flavonoids was not essential for the antiproliferative activity on LOVO and U2-OS cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel sesquiterpene glycoside from Loquat leaf alleviates oleic acid-induced steatosis and oxidative stress in HepG2 cells.
Tunyu Jian,Yuexian Wu,Xiaoqin Ding,Han Lv,Ma Li,Yuanyuan Zuo,Bingru Ren,Lei Zhao,Tong Bei,Jian Chen,Weilin Li +10 more
TL;DR: TSG are probably the main responsible chemical profiles of Loquat leaf for the treatment of NAFLD, for which it can effectively improve OA-induced steatosis and reduce oxidative stress, probably by downregulating of CYP2E1 expression and JNK/c-Jun phosphorylation, while SG1 may be the principle compound.

Dichromatism gmelin sealavender herb extractive and application thereof
Ma Li,Teng Jiehui,Weilin Li +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a dichromatism gmelin sealavender herb extractive and application thereof is described, which has high Alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity and high concentration of ethanol.
