Long-term effects of web-based pedometer-mediated intervention on COPD exacerbations.
Emily S. Wan,Ana Kantorowski,Madeline Polak,Reema Kadri,Caroline R. Richardson,David R. Gagnon,Eric Garshick,Marilyn L. Moy,Marilyn L. Moy +8 more
TL;DR: A 3-month internet-mediated, pedometer-based PA intervention was associated with reduced risk for AEs of COPD over 12-15 months of follow-up and there were no significant between-group differences in change in average daily step count, HRQL, or self-efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI
A randomised trial of a web-based physical activity self-management intervention in COPD
Stephanie A. Robinson,Stephanie A. Robinson,J. Allen D. Cooper,J. Allen D. Cooper,Rebekah L. Goldstein,Madeline Polak,Paola N. Cruz Rivera,David R. Gagnon,David R. Gagnon,Amber Samuelson,Sheila Moore,Reema Kadri,Caroline R. Richardson,Marilyn L. Moy,Marilyn L. Moy +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the effectiveness of a web-based self-management intervention, focused on physical activity promotion, on exercise capacity in COPD, and found that participants were significantly more engaged with the intervention, although site did not modify the effect of the intervention on 6MWD or secondary outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Phase II, Two-Stage Study of Letrozole and Abemaciclib in Estrogen Receptor–Positive Recurrent Endometrial Cancer
Panagiotis A. Konstantinopoulos,Elizabeth K. Lee,Niya Xiong,Carolyn N. Krasner,Susana M. Campos,David L. Kolin,Joyce F. Liu,Neil S. Horowitz,Alexi A. Wright,Sara Bouberhan,Richard T. Penson,Oladapo Yeku,Brittany Bowes,Hope Needham,Martin Hayes,Hannah Sawyer,Madeline Polak,Meghan Shea,Su Chun Cheng,Cesar M. Castro,Ursula A. Matulonis +20 more
TL;DR: Letrozole/abemaciclib demonstrated encouraging and durable evidence of activity in recurrent ER positive endometrioid EC, and exploratory tumor profiling revealed several mechanistically relevant candidate predictors of response or absence of response (CTNNB1, KRAS, and CDKN2A mutations), which require independent validation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of Treatment With Talazoparib and Avelumab in Patients With Recurrent Mismatch Repair Proficient Endometrial Cancer
Panagiotis A. Konstantinopoulos,Allison Gockley,Niya Xiong,Carolyn N. Krasner,Neil S. Horowitz,Susana M. Campos,Alexi A. Wright,Joyce F. Liu,Meghan Shea,Oladapo Yeku,Cesar M. Castro,Madeline Polak,Elizabeth K. Lee,Hannah Sawyer,Brittany Bowes,John W. Moroney,Su Chun Cheng,Nabihah Tayob,Sara Bouberhan,David R. Spriggs,Richard T. Penson,Gini F. Fleming,Marisa R. Nucci,Ursula A. Matulonis +23 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that treatment with avelumab and talazoparib has a favorable toxic effects profile and support further investigation in certain subsets of patients with recurrent MMRP EC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vitamin D, diet, and lifestyle in a chronic SCI population
Nicholas E. Koutrakis,Rebekah L. Goldstein,Palak Walia,Madeline Polak,Antonio A. Lazzari,Carlos G. Tun,Jaime E. Hart,Eric Garshick +7 more
TL;DR: Plasma 25(OH)D level in chronic SCI is not associated with clinical factors specific to SCI such as injury level and completeness, injury duration, and mobility mode, but related to supplement intake and other lifestyle factors.
