Chandra Imaging of the Gamma-Ray Source GeV J1809-2327

Abstract: We report on Chandra imaging observations of the Galactic Unidentified $\gamma$-ray source GEV J1809-2327, comparing the X-ray images with new VLA 1.46 GHz and 4.86 GHz maps. The X-ray images reveal a point source connected to a non-thermal X-ray/radio nebula, supporting a pulsar/wind model for the $\gamma$-ray emitter. We also detect numerous X-ray sources from the young stellar association in the adjacent HII region S32.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Pulsars Coincident with Unidentified Gamma-Ray Sources

TL;DR: In this paper, Parkes multibeam system was used to search for pulsars within unknown EGRET source error boxes using the Parkes multi-beam system, including three new binary systems.

Recent Searches for Pulsars in Unidentified EGRET Error Boxes

TL;DR: In this article, the Parkes multibeam system was used to detect several new binary pulsar systems in the plane of the galaxy, but whether these are potential gamma-ray emitters has not been determined.

PSR J2021+3651: a new γ-ray pulsar candidate

TL;DR: In this paper, the discovery and subsequent timing of a young and energetic pulsar, PSR J2021+3651, with the Wideband Arecibo Pulsar Processor at the arecibo Observatory was presented.
