Journal ArticleDOI
Isolation and expression analysis of partial sequences of heavy metal transporters from Brassica juncea by coupling high throughput cloning with a molecular fingerprinting technique.
Soumita Das,Monali Sen,Chinmay Saha,Debjani Chakraborty,Antara Das,Manidipa Banerjee,Anindita Seal +6 more
TL;DR: Semi-quantitative RT-PCR-based expression analysis of chosen members indicated that even closely related isoforms/allelic variants of BjNRAMP and BjYSL have distinct tissue-specific and metal-dependent expressions which might be essential for adaptive fitness and heavy metal tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toward development of generic inhibitors against the 3C proteases of picornaviruses.
Kamalika Banerjee,Ruchika Bhat,V. U. Bhaskara Rao,Anshu Nain,Kartik Lakshmi Rallapalli,Sohona Gangopadhyay,Ravi P. Singh,Manidipa Banerjee,Bhyravabhotla Jayaram +8 more
TL;DR: This work has targeted the 3C protease of Hepatitis A Virus, a feco‐orally transmitted virus of the family Picornaviridae, for identification of potential antivirals and identified a few compounds which could inhibit HAV 3C activity.
