An efficient, catalyst- and solvent-free, four-component, and one-pot synthesis of polyhydroquinolines on grinding
TL;DR: In this article, a four-component reaction of aldehydes, dimedone, active methylene compounds, and ammonium acetate in one-pot under solvent-free conditions at room temperature on grinding is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
First Systematic Investigation of C ? H⋅⋅⋅Cl Hydrogen Bonding Using Inorganic Supramolecular Synthons: Lamellar, Stitched Stair‐Case, Linked‐Ladder, and Helical Structures
TL;DR: Using a group of six neutral M(II)Cl(2)M-containing coordination compounds as building blocks, the first systematic investigation of C-H...Cl hydrogen-bonding interactions was performed to demonstrate the existence of versatile C- H...Cl( 2)M interactions and to report the successful application of such units as inorganic supramolecular synthons.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, Structure, DNA/Protein Binding, and Anticancer Activity of Some Half-Sandwich Cyclometalated Rh(III) and Ir(III) Complexes
Sujay Mukhopadhyay,Rakesh Kumar Gupta,Rajendra Prasad Paitandi,Nishant Kumar Rana,Gunjan Sharma,Biplob Koch,Love Karan Rana,Maninder Singh Hundal,Daya Shankar Pandey +8 more
TL;DR: The Schiff base ligands benzylidene(4-tert-butylphenyl)amine 4-methyl ester (L1), (4-nitrobenzylidenes)(4-TERT-phenyl)-amine (L2), and 4-cyanobenzylideni(4tertbutyl phenyl)amines (L3) have been synthesized as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
One-pot synthesis of α-aminophosphonates catalyzed by antimony trichloride adsorbed on alumina
TL;DR: SbCl 3 adsorbed on Al 2 O 3 is found to be an efficient and recyclable catalyst in promoting three-component coupling reactions of aldehydes, amines, and dialkylphosphites to afford the corresponding α-aminophosphonates in high yields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mesitylene based azo-coupled chromogenic tripodal receptors : a visual detection of Ag(I) in aqueous medium
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of tripodal ligands 3a-d, based on a mesitylene anchor, containing aza-thioethers as donor atoms and coupled with 4-(4/3/2-nitrophenyl)azophenol or 4-(2-chlorophenyl)hexophenol have been synthesized as chromogenic receptors, which are highly selective for silver(I).
