Mercury and DDT exposure risk to fish-eating human populations in Amazon.

TL;DR: The histopathological and neurotoxic findings showed that the wild population of fish is affected by chronic exposure to mercury, meaning risk also to fish-eating populations and that it is necessary a continuous biomonitoring of the levels of both pollutants in order to manage the risk of exposure to human populations.

On-line extraction and determination of carbofuran in raw milk by direct HPLC injection on an ISRP column

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for extraction and determination of carbofuran in milk was developed, which involved direct injection of raw milk on to a human serum albumin dimethyl octyl-silica gel (HSA-C8) column and the use of 80:20 (v/v) 0.01 M phosphate buffer pH 5.5-acetonitrile as mobile phase.
