TL;DR: Although radial artery pressures are more commonly monitored during cardiac surgery, femoral artery perfusion pressure are more reliable during the initial part of CPB, and routine monitoring of Femoral artery pressures may prevent vasoconstrictor use on initiation ofCPB.
