Mélanie Deschasaux-Tanguy,Nathalie Druesne-Pecollo,Younes Esseddik,Fabien Szabo de Edelenyi,Benjamin Allès,Valentina A. Andreeva,Julia Baudry,Hélène Charreire,Valérie Deschamps,Manon Egnell,Léopold Fezeu,Pilar Galan,Chantal Julia,Emmanuelle Kesse-Guyot,Paule Latino-Martel,Jean-Michel Oppert,Sandrine Péneau,Charlotte Verdot,Serge Hercberg,Mathilde Touvier +19 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the lockdown led, in a substantial part of the population, to unhealthy nutritional behaviours that, if maintained in the long term, may increase the nutrition-related burden of disease and also impact immunity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Objective understanding of Nutri-Score Front-Of-Package nutrition label according to individual characteristics of subjects: Comparisons with other format labels.
Manon Egnell,Pauline Ducrot,Mathilde Touvier,Benjamin Allès,Serge Hercberg,Emmanuelle Kesse-Guyot,Chantal Julia +6 more
TL;DR: Investigating the objective understanding of the Nutri-Score compared to other label formats found it to be associated to a higher objective understanding than monochrome and nutrient-specific labels, even in the at-risk populations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Consumers' Perceptions of Five Front-of-Package Nutrition Labels: An Experimental Study Across 12 Countries.
TL;DR: Responses showed a strong preference for mandatory labelling, regardless of label condition, which is consistent with past research showing that the application of labels across all products leads to healthier choices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of the Front-of-Pack Nutrition Label Nutri-Score to Discriminate the Nutritional Quality of Foods Products: A Comparative Study across 8 European Countries.
Louise Dréano-Trécant,Manon Egnell,Serge Hercberg,Pilar Galan,Juliette Soudon,Morgane Fialon,Mathilde Touvier,Emmanuelle Kesse-Guyot,Chantal Julia +8 more
TL;DR: The results support the fact that the Nutri-Score would be a relevant tool to discriminate the nutritional quality of products within and across relevant food groups in different European countries, with consistency with nutritional recommendations.
