Journal ArticleDOI

Fagaropsine, a degraded limonoid glucoside from Fagaropsis glabra

TL;DR: In this article, the absolute structure of Fagaropsis glabra was elucidated as 1-O-β- d -glucopyranosyl-4α-(3′-furanyl)-7β-hydroxy-4aα,8α-dimethyl-4,4a,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-3-benzopyran-2-one.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bimetallic CoRh and CoRu nanoparticles: size-induced enhanced magnetisation

TL;DR: The magnetism of bimetallic CoxM1−x (M: Ru and Rh) clusters has been investigated on systems of nanoparticles with diameters smaller than 2nm embedded in a polymer obtained by means of organometallic synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

High magnetic field study of HoBaCo2O5.5 and GdBaCo2O5.5 layered cobaltites: the effect of rare-earth size

TL;DR: In this article, high-pulsed magnetic field up to μ 0 H = 32 T was used to study HoBaCo2O5+δ (δ=0.52(1)) and showed that the transition of the magnetization at the field-induced transition is independent of rare earth at this level of oxygen content.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ synthesis of gold nanoparticles in polymer films under concentrated sunlight: control of nanoparticle size and shape with solar flux

TL;DR: In this paper, a spin-coating-based technique was proposed for synthesizing plasmonic nanocomposites under concentrated sunlight. But the method is not suitable for the case of gold nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of vanadocene as an organometallic reducing agent for the preparation of ultrafine magnetic iron powder and organized iron particles from iron salts

TL;DR: In this article, the same reaction was carried out in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)-protected zerovalent iron particles, which showed an astonishing common magnetic and crystallographic orientation.
