Journal ArticleDOI

Investigations of surface layer temperature and morphology of hard machinable materials used in aircraft industry during abrasive electrodischarge grinding process

TL;DR: In this paper, the results related to the influence of selected electrical parameters of the abrasive electrodischarge grinding process on the surface layer temperature and morphology of machined samples in comparison to the conventional grinding method are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tolerance and asymptotic modelling of dynamic thermoelasticity problems for thin micro-periodic cylindrical shells

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of linear dynamic thermoelasticity in Kirchhoff-love-type circular cylindrical shells having properties periodically varying in circumferential direction (uniperiodic shells) is considered.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stability of thin micro-periodic cylindrical shells; extended tolerance modelling

TL;DR: In this paper, a non-asymptotic tolerance model for Kirchhoff-love-type circular cylindrical shells with geometrical, elastic and inertial properties densely and periodically varying in circumferential direction (uniperiodic shells) is considered.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling and research of temperature distribution in surface layer of titanium alloy workpiece during AEDG and conventional grinding

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have concentrated on the grinding of the Ti6Al4V titanium alloy using cBN (boron nitride) grinding wheel combined with the AEDG (abrasive electrodischarge grinding) process.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the cell-dependent vibrations and wave propagation in uniperiodic cylindrical shells

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered thin linearly elastic Kirchhoff-love-type circular cylindrical shells having a periodically micro-heterogeneous structure in circumferential direction (uniperiodic shells) and studied certain problems of micro-vibrations and wave propagation related to microfluctuations of displacement field caused by a periodic structure of the shells.
