Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of laccase production by Botryosphaeria sp. in the presence of veratryl alcohol by the response-surface method
Ana Flora Dalberto Vasconcelos,Aneli M. Barbosa,Robert F.H. Dekker,Ieda Spacino Scarminio,Maria Inês Rezende +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of veratryl alcohol and yeast extract concentration, time of cultivation and agitation speed were evaluated by factorial analysis to select variables for optimizing the production of laccases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Xylanase production by Trichoderma harzianum rifai by solid state fermentation on sugarcane bagasse
Maria Inês Rezende,Maria Inês Rezende,Maria Inês Rezende,Aneli M. Barbosa,Ana Flora Dalberto Vasconcelos,Asae Sakurada Endo +5 more
TL;DR: Sugarcane bagasse was used as substrate for xylanase production by means of a strain of Trichoderma harzianum Rifai isolated from decaying Aspidosperma sp.
Journal ArticleDOI
Screening Botryosphaeria species for lipases: Production of lipase by Botryosphaeria ribis EC-01 grown on soybean oil and other carbon sources
Josana Maria Messias,Bruna Costa,Valéria Marta Gomes de Lima,Robert F.H. Dekker,Maria Inês Rezende,Nadia Krieger,Aneli M. Barbosa +6 more
TL;DR: The first report on the production of lipases by B. ribis grown on these different carbon sources is reported, and the crude lipase showed affinity for substrates of short, average and long-chain fatty acids (different esters of p -nitrophenol and triacylglycerols).
Journal ArticleDOI
Physical Properties, Photo- and Bio-degradation of Baked Foams Based on Cassava Starch, Sugarcane Bagasse Fibers and Montmorillonite
Ana Elisa Stefani Vercelheze,André Luiz Martinez de Oliveira,Maria Inês Rezende,Carmen M.O. Müller,Fabio Yamashita,Suzana Mali +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed biodegradable trays from cassava starch, sugarcane fibers and Na-montmorillonite (Na-MMT) using a baking process and to study the effects of these components on the physical properties, photo- and bio-degradation of the trays.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth and production of laccases by the ligninolytic fungi, Pleurotus ostreatus and Botryosphaeria rhodina , cultured on basal medium containing the herbicide, Scepter (imazaquin).
Maria Inês Rezende,Aneli M. Barbosa,Ana-Flora D. Vasconcelos,Renata Haddad,Robert F.H. Dekker +4 more
TL;DR: An inverse relationship existed between the level of Scepter® in the culture medium that supported fungal growth and laccase production and the fungi studied presented different behaviour towards SCEpter®, in theculture environment.
