Time and Spatial Dependence of the Concentration of Less Than 105 Microelectrode-Generated Molecules
TL;DR: The time and spatial dependence of the concentration of as few as 40,000 electrogenerated, redox-active molecules has been determined and measurements of a sufficiently small ensemble of molecules allowed the experimental results to be compared with a quantitative simulation of the random movement of each member of the ensemble.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical characterization of surface-bound redox polymers derived from 1,1'-bis(((3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl)amino)carbonyl)cobaltocenium: charge transport, anion binding, and use in photoelectrochemical hydrogen generation
TL;DR: In this article, the behavior of electrode-bound redox material derived from the hydrolysis of the -Si(OEt)/sub 3/ groups of 1,1'-bis(((3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl)amino)carbonyl)cobaltocenium (I) is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interaction of diethyldithiocarbamate with n-type cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenide: efficient photoelectrochemical oxidation to the disulfide and flat-band potential of the semiconductor as a function of adsorbate concentration
TL;DR: In this paper, the behavior of Na(Et/sub 2/NCS/Sub 2//sup) at n-type semiconducting CdX (X = S, Se) in CH/sub 3/CN/0.2 M NaClO/sub 4/ has been studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Visible Light Driven Generation of Chlorine and Bromine. Photooxidation of Chloride and Bromide in Aqueous Solution at Illuminated n-Type Semiconducting Molybdenum Diselenide and Molybdenum Disulfide Electrodes
TL;DR: In this article, N-type semiconducting, single-crystal MoS/sub 2/ and MoSe/Sub 2/ are used as durable photoanodes for the photogeneration of Br/sub2/ or Cl/sub/2/ from aqueous 12 M LiBr or 15 M LiCl, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Excited state decay of tetrahalomanganese(ii) complexes
Mark S. Wrighton,David S. Ginley +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the excitation and emission spectra and decay times of several MnX 2-4 (X = Cl −, Br −, 1 − ) complexes of various tetraalkylammonium, -phosphonium, and -arsonium salts have been measured for the pure solids at 298°K and 77°K.
