The thalamic mGluR1-PLCβ4 pathway is critical in sleep architecture.

TL;DR: The results of this study showed that thalamic mGluR1-PLCβ4 pathway was critical in controlling sleep architecture and in vitro intrathalamic oscillations were greatly enhanced in the PLC β4−/− slices.
Journal ArticleDOI

Epitope analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid IgG in HTLV-I associated myelopathy patients using phage display method

TL;DR: In this paper, the binding motifs of immunoglobulin G (IgG) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of human T lymphotropic virus type I (HTLV-I)-associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis (HAM/TSP) patients with a phage library displaying 12-mer random peptides were analyzed.
Journal Article

Detection of right to left shunting through a patent foramen ovale in Japanese patients with ischemic stroke by transesophageal echocardiography using a standardized Valsalva maneuver.

TL;DR: The results suggest that the standardized Valsalva maneuver is a safe and useful technique to detect the presence of a patent foramen ovale, which is potentially known to be associated with paradoxical embolism.

Uniqueness for inverse problem of determining fractional orders for time-fractional advection-diffusion equations

TL;DR: In this article, the uniqueness of the initial boundary value problem for time-fractional advection-diffusion equations with the zero Dirichlet boundary value was established.
