Polymer-coated electrodes: New materials for science and industry

TL;DR: In this paper, a review describes the methods used to prepare polymer coatings on a carrier electrode and discusses various ways of controlling electron processes, including electron transport through the polymer layer, catalysis at the interface, charge storage for polymer batteries, display devices and polymer-based electronics.
Journal ArticleDOI

The kinetics of the oxidative polymerization of 2.6-xylenol with a copper-amine complex

TL;DR: In this article, it was found that 2.6-xylenol with a copper-amine complex proceeds via a mechanism similar to that of a MICHAELIS-MENTEN-type reaction, the steady state being maintained during the polymerization; the kinetics were studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

The catalytic effects of the poly(vinylpyridine)‐ligand in the oxidative polymerization of phenols

TL;DR: In this article, a copper-poly(vinylpyridine) (Cu-PVP) complex was used as a catalyst for the oxidative polymerization of phenols.
Book ChapterDOI

Solar energy conversion by functional polymers

Masao Kaneko, +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, photo-indueed charge separation and electron relay in Molecular and Polymer Assemblies... and.. 7 3.1 conversion systems on molecular assembly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and properties of some water‐soluble cobalt (III)–poly‐4‐vinylpyridine complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, substitution reactions between cobalt(III) chelate and polyvinylpyridine (PVP) in water-alcohol solution were performed to identify polymeric PVP complexes.
