Investigation of cobalt oxides as anode materials for Li-ion batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, the reactivity of the cobalt oxides is attributed to the fact that the products of lithiation are in the form of nanosized products, and the CoO electrode demonstrates a stable reversible lithium storage capacity of about 300 mg−1, even after 30 cycles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Graphite–Tin composites as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries
TL;DR: In this article, the capacity of the ball-milled C, C 0.9 Sn 0.1 and C0.2 electrodes has better cyclability than that of the graphite electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI
Al-based anode materials for Li-ion batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, the electrochemical performance of Fe 2 Al 5 was investigated as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries and the highest discharge capacity was as a result of ball milling for 10,000 min which is consistent with the theoretical capacity for formation of AlLi (543m/g).
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and characterization of carbon nanotubes for energy storage
TL;DR: In this article, multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were synthesized using chemical evaporation deposition (CVD) and the morphology and microstructure of MWNTs were observed via HRTEM.
Journal ArticleDOI
New approach for synthesis of carbon-mixed LiFePO4 cathode materials
Konstantin Konstantinov,S. Bewlay,Guoxiu Wang,Matthew Lindsay,Jieqiang Wang,H.K. Liu,Shi Xue Dou,Jung-Ho Ahn +7 more
TL;DR: For the first time, carbon-mixed LiFePO 4 (LFP) cathode materials have been prepared by spray solution technology as discussed by the authors, which increased the specific surface area above 20m 2 /g at a relatively high sintering temperature (700 ˚C).
