Journal ArticleDOI
First-in-Human Technique Translation of Oxygen-Enhanced MRI to an MR Linac System in Patients with Head and Neck Cancer.
Michael Dubec,David L. Buckley,Michael Berks,A. Clough,J. Karl Gaffney,Anubhav Datta,Damien J. McHugh,Nuria Porta,Ross A. Little,Susan Cheung,Christina Hague,Cynthia L. Eccles,Peter Hoskin,Robert G. Bristow,Julian Charles Matthews,Marcel van Herk,Ananya Choudhury,Geoff JM Parker,Andrew McPartlin,James PB O'Connor +19 more
TL;DR: In this article , a volumetric, dynamic OE-MRI was translated onto an MR Linac system, yielding repeatable hypoxia biomarkers, which has potential to guide future clinical trials of biology guided adaptive radiotherapy.
Book ChapterDOI
Comparison of microcalcification detection rates and recall rates in digital and analogue mammography
TL;DR: Screening using digital mammography leads to a higher recall rate for assessment than analogue mammography, although similar rates of detection of microcalcifications occur with both imaging modalities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Madym: A C++ toolkit for quantitative DCE-MRI analysis
Journal ArticleDOI
Polarisation-sensitive optical coherence tomography measurement of retardance in fibrosis, a non-invasive biomarker in patients with systemic sclerosis
Elizabeth Marjanovic,Vinay Sharma,L. Smith,C. Pinder,Tonia L. Moore,Joanne Manning,Graham Dinsdale,Michael Berks,Victoria L. Newton,S Wilkinson,Mark Dickinson,Al Herrick,Rachel E.B. Watson,Andrea Murray +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a non-invasive method of assessing skin fibrosis in the multisystem disease systemic sclerosis (SSc) by measuring collagen retardance was proposed, which was used as a biomarker for SSc-related fibrosis.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Assessment of change in breast density: reader performance using synthetic mammographic images
Susan M. Astley,Chitra Swayamprakasam,Michael Berks,Jamie C. Sergeant,Julie Morris,Mary E. Wilson,Nicky Barr,Caroline Boggis +7 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that where readers need to identify change in density, images should be displayed alongside one another, and less accurate assessors performed better when asked directly about the magnitude of the change.
