Proceedings ArticleDOI

TensorFlow: a system for large-scale machine learning

TL;DR: TensorFlow as mentioned in this paper is a machine learning system that operates at large scale and in heterogeneous environments, using dataflow graphs to represent computation, shared state, and the operations that mutate that state.
Journal ArticleDOI

C ONDENSATION —Conditional Density Propagation forVisual Tracking

TL;DR: The Condensation algorithm uses “factored sampling”, previously applied to the interpretation of static images, in which the probability distribution of possible interpretations is represented by a randomly generated set.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Object retrieval with large vocabularies and fast spatial matching

TL;DR: To improve query performance, this work adds an efficient spatial verification stage to re-rank the results returned from the bag-of-words model and shows that this consistently improves search quality, though by less of a margin when the visual vocabulary is large.
