Journal ArticleDOI

Réduction du soufre par un sulfure et oxydation électrochimique d'un sulfure dans le diméthylsulfoxyde

TL;DR: In this article, a progressive addition of sodium sulphide to a sulphur solution in dimethylsulphoxide results in the formation of polysulfide ions, identical to those obtained by electrochemical reduction of sulphur in the same solvent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Methodology for zinc phosphate pigment incorporation into polypyrrole matrix

TL;DR: In this paper, the incorporation of a commercial zinc phosphate pigment into polypyrrole (PPy) matrix during its electrochemical synthesis on mild steel was studied in order to produce PPy/zinc phosphate composite films as a protective layer against corrosion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel rhenium catalysts (chlorides and/or alkoxides dispersed on inorganic supports) for metathesis: A comparison with ammonium perrhenate precursors

TL;DR: In this article, the trans-/cis- ratios in 9-octadecene, 2, monoester, 1, and dimethyl 9-ctadecenedioate, 3, produced in the metathesis of methyl oleate, cis-1, are measured against time for a series of rhenium-supported precursors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface modification of halogenated polymers. 2. Chloro- and fluoropolymers

TL;DR: In this paper, it was demonstrated that the surface free energy and consequently the hydrophilic character of the surface increased slightly with defluorination; anion radicals could also be used as reducing species; and copper or nickel metallization of magnesium treated samples could be achieved with the electroless procedure.
