Molecular Adaptations to Social Defeat Stress and Induced Depression in Mice
Natalya P. Bondar,L. O. Bryzgalov,Nikita I. Ershov,Fedor Gusev,Vasiliy V. Reshetnikov,Damira F. Avgustinovich,Mikhail V. Tenditnik,Evgeny I. Rogaev,Tatiana I. Merkulova +8 more
TL;DR: The data show that the development of depression under social stress conditions is correlated with suppression of the overactive molecular response to induced stress, involving gene regulatory resistance to glucocorticoid molecules, potentially via a chromatin remodeling mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined effects of social stress and liver fluke infection in a mouse model.
Damira F. Avgustinovich,Mariya K. Marenina,Svetlana Ya. Zhanaeva,Mikhail V. Tenditnik,Alexey V. Katokhin,Konstantin S. Pavlov,Anton Yu. Sivkov,Galina B. Vishnivetskaya,M. N. Lvova,Tatiana G. Tolstikova,Viatcheslav A. Mordvinov +10 more
TL;DR: A more severe negative effect of the simultaneous influence of both factors on most of the parameters that were investigated is suggested.
