Journal ArticleDOI
Rare-earth (Gd 3+ ,Yb 3+ /Tm 3+ , Eu 3+ ) co-doped hydroxyapatite as magnetic, up-conversion and down-conversion materials for multimodal imaging
Nenad Ignjatović,Lidija Mančić,Marina Vuković,Zoran Stojanović,Marko Nikolić,Srečo D. Škapin,Sonja Veljović Jovanović,Sonja Veljović Jovanović,Ljiljana Veselinović,Vuk Uskoković,S. Lazić,Smilja Marković,Milos Lazarevic,Dragan Uskoković +13 more
TL;DR: The FTIR analysis suggested that a synergy may exist solely in the triply doped system, where the lattice symmetry and vibration modes become more coherent than in the singly or doubly doped systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of four different suture materials in respect to oral wound healing, microbial colonization, tissue reaction and clinical features—randomized clinical study
Miroslav Dragovic,Marko Pejovic,Jelena Stepić,Snjezana Colic,Branko Dozic,Svetlana Dragovic,Milos Lazarevic,Nadja Nikolic,Jelena Milasin,Biljana Milicic +9 more
TL;DR: Non-resorbable polypropylene suture showed superior clinical characteristics among all suture materials and elicited strongest inflammatory reaction and showed the greatest microbial adherence affinity compared to alternative sutures.
Journal ArticleDOI
NIR photo-driven upconversion in NaYF4:Yb,Er/PLGA particles for in vitro bioimaging of cancer cells.
Lidija Mančić,Aleksandra Djukić-Vuković,Ivana Dinić,Marko Nikolić,Mihailo D. Rabasović,Aleksandar J. Krmpot,Antonio M.L.M. Costa,Dijana Trišić,Milos Lazarevic,Ljiljana Mojović,Olivera Milošević +10 more
TL;DR: The fact that NaYF4:Yb,Er/PLGA UCNPs show low cytotoxicity against HGC over the whole concentration range (10-50 μg/mL) while a dose dependent viability of OSCC is obtained indicates that these might be a promising candidates for targeted cancer cell therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genetic and epigenetic alterations in the tumour, tumour margins, and normal buccal mucosa of patients with oral cancer.
N. Eljabo,Nadja Nikolic,Jelena Carkic,Drago Jelovac,Milos Lazarevic,Nasta Tanić,Jelena Milasin +6 more
TL;DR: Tumour tissues, as expected, showed the highest prevalence of alterations, while oral mucosa showed the lowest, and multiple alterations in tumours and tumour margins were significantly more frequent than in unaffected Oral mucosa, which was correlated with shorter disease-specific survival.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of stem-like cancer cells in basal cell carcinoma and its surgical margins.
Maja Milošević,Milos Lazarevic,Bosko Toljic,Jelena Simonovic,Dijana Trišić,Nađa Nikolic,Milan Petrovic,Jelena Milasin +7 more
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to characterize the cells isolated from BCC and its margin and identify the cells responsible for propagation and recurrence.
