Efficiency enhancement in an indacenodithiophene and thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6-dione backbone photovoltaic polymer with an extended thieno[3,2-b]thiophene π-bridge

TL;DR: In this article, two donor-π-acceptor (Dπ-A) type polymers based on indacenodithiophene (IDT) and thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6-dione (TPD) with π-bridges were designed and synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzothiadiazole – an excellent acceptor for indacenodithiophene based polymer solar cells

TL;DR: Two tetradodeoxyphenyl-substituted indacenodithiophene (IDT) based polymers, PIDT3T and PIDTDTBT, were achieved by copolymerizing IDT with terthiophene or di-2-thienyl-2′,1′,3′-benzothiadiazole (DTBT).
Journal ArticleDOI

Corrosion behavior of hydrophobic titanium oxide film pre‐treated in hydrogen peroxide solution

TL;DR: In this paper, a pre-treated titanium oxide (TiO2) film was shown to have a small groove-shaped structure on its surface, which induced higher hydrophobic capability, larger impedance, and better electrochemical stability than the film that was prepared at other temperatures or the Ti with nature formed oxidation film.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-Dimensional BDT-Based Wide Band Gap Polymer Donor for Efficient Non-Fullerene Organic Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a 2D conjugated polymer PBDTDT-TT copolymer was used as the donor material blended with a new non-fullerene receptor ITM, successfully fabricating the positive devices with an ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer:ITM/PFN-Br/Al structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Halogenation on terminal groups of ITIC based electron acceptors as an effective strategy for efficient polymer solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, F, Cl and Br terminated ITIC small molecule acceptor (SMA) derivatives (IT-2F, IT-2Cl and IT -2Br) are designed and synthesized to compare the halogen substitution effect.
