Hydrophilic poly-ether side-chained benzodithiophene-based homopolymer for solar cells and field-effect transistors
Qian Liu,Qian Liu,Xichang Bao,Yan Yan,Zhengkun Du,Vellaisamy A. L. Roy,Dangqiang Zhu,Mingliang Sun,Mingliang Sun,Chun-Sing Lee,Renqiang Yang +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, two benzodithiophene (BDT)-based homopolymers which have different mole ratios of poly-ether side chain substitute were synthesized by Stille coupling reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Random terpolymers for high-performance semitransparent polymer solar cells
Xiaohua Zhai,Xiangkun Wang,Kun Zhu,Caiyun Gao,Yan He,Liangmin Yu,Mingliang Sun,Mingliang Sun +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a random copolymerization approach was employed to construct terpolymers (named as J28, J55, J82), which outperformed binary copolymers in non-fullerene PSCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric ITIC acceptor for asymmetric benzodithiophene polymer solar cells
TL;DR: In this article, a novel asymmetric non-fullerene acceptor ITIC-3T was designed and synthesized for photovoltaic cells and the optimal device yields a PCE of 6.47% with a VOC of 0.64 V, a FF of 55.5% and a high JSC of 18.18 µm−2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thieno[2,3-f]benzofuran based donor-acceptor polymer for fullerene-free solar cells
TL;DR: A donor-acceptor (D-A) polymer, PTBFDO-BDD, based on thieno[2,3-f]benzofuran (TBF) with 4-dodecyl thienyl chains, was designed and synthesized as mentioned in this paper.
