Antioxidant Capacities and Phenolic Levels of Different Varieties of Serbian White Wines
TL;DR: A high and significant correlation between antioxidant activity and total phenolic content was determined in wines and Međaš beli had the highest content of TP, TF and TAA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elemental Composition of Various Sour Cherry and Table Grape Cultivars Using Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry Method (ICP-OES)
Snežana S. Mitić,Mirjana V. Obradović,Milan N. Mitić,Danijela A. Kostić,Aleksandra N. Pavlović,Snežana B. Tošić,Milan Stojković +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, three sour cherry and three table grape cultivars were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry and principal component analysis was used to evaluate the distribution of metals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polyphenol content and antioxidant activity of sour cherries from Serbia
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the phenolic content of three sour cherry cultivars (Prunus cerasus L.) introduced to the southeast Serbia climate conditions and found that the examined cultivars possess a high antioxidant capacity, and all phenolics of highy correlation with TAC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phytochemical profiles and antioxidant activities of Serbian table and wine grapes
TL;DR: In this paper, three table grapes and four wine grapes collected from a southern Serbian vineyard were evaluated and compared for their antioxidant properties and phenolic profile, and the results suggested that phytochemicals in the selected table and wine grapes have potent antioxidant activities in correlation with phenolic content.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic determination of nanogram amounts from iron(III) using its catalytic effect on the oxidation of sodium pyrogallol-5-sulphonate by hydrogen peroxide.
TL;DR: A kinetic method based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation of sodium pyrogallol-5-sulphonate by hydrogen peroxide is described and has been applied satisfactorily to the determination of iron(III) in tap water samples.
