Design and optimization of ultra wide band monopole antenna with DGS for microwave imaging

TL;DR: A comparative study carried out between these two designs and analyzed that proposed UWB monopole antenna enhanced impedance bandwidth from 3.7 GHz-14.9 GHz to 3.4 GHz-20 GHz and group delay is also satisfactory, which makes the proposed antenna a good candidate for portable UWB applications.
Book ChapterDOI

Frequency Reconfigurable UWB Antenna Design for Wireless Applications

TL;DR: A frequency band reconfigurable antenna that covers the various wireless standards WLAN, WiMAX, WiFi and UWB with return loss S11 < −10 dB is designed and experimentally analyzed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Gain enhancement in a novel square microstrip patch antenna using hybrid substrates

TL;DR: A novel square microstrip patch on the hybrid substrate that includes a square an unbiased ferrite ring in the Rogers TMM4 substrate, initially at a distance of the one-quarter of the free space wavelength from the edges of patch is presented.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Ultra wideband planar bandpass filter with dual notch behavior

TL;DR: A planar ultrawide band bandpass filter with dual notched behavior is proposed using interdigital finger structure on planar configuration as WLAN and few satellites communication systems interfere with UWB radio system.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A Wideband Circular Patch Antenna with Low Pass Filter on a Same Substrate for Rectenna Application

TL;DR: The proposed wideband circular micro strip patch antenna design will be suitable for wireless communication for GPS, GSM, CDMA, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, W-MAX, Bluetooth, and W-LAN and UWB spectrum.
