Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-walled carbon nanotubes-ionic liquid-carbon paste electrode as a super selectivity sensor: application to potentiometric monitoring of mercury ion(II).

TL;DR: The proposed electrode was successfully used as an indicator for potentiometric determination of Hg(II) in dental amalgam and water samples and the electrode has a short response time and can be used for at least 55 days without any considerable divergence in potentials.
Journal ArticleDOI

An investigation on the new operational parameter effective in Cr(VI) removal efficiency: a study on electrocoagulation by alternating pulse current.

TL;DR: Equal removal efficiency was obtained in "direct current" (DC) and (APC); however, when "APC" was used, water recovery was significant and the turbidity was 1 NTU.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid phase extraction of ultra traces silver(I) using octadecyl silica membrane disks modified by 1,3-bis(2-cyanobenzene) triazene (CBT) ligand prior to determination by flame atomic absorption.

TL;DR: The method was successfully applied to the determination of silver ion in different samples, especially determination of ultra trace amount of silver in the presence of large amount of lead.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid phase extraction of ultra traces mercury (II) using octadecyl silica membrane disks modified by 1,3-bis(2-ethoxyphenyl)triazene (EPT) ligand and determination by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry

TL;DR: A facile and highly efficient method was developed for the preconcentration of the ultra trace amounts of mercury (II) ions and successfully applied to the determination of mercury ions in real water samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective extraction and preconcentration of ultra-trace level of mercury ions in water and fish samples using Fe3O4-magnetite-nanoparticles functionalized by triazene compound prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry

TL;DR: In this article, a modified magnetite nanoparticles functionalized with triazene groups were designed and synthesized for extraction/preconcentration of sub-ppb level of mercury ions in water and fish samples prior to its determination with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
