On using a distributed-parameter model for modal analysis of a mistuned bladed disk rotor and extracting the statistical properties of its in-plane natural frequencies

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered continuous Euler-Bernoulli beams with transverse and longitudinal degrees of freedom and derived the governing equations of motion for the tuned and mistuned bladed disk systems by using Galerkin method.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new three-dimensional dynamic model and experimental validation for motion of a part in a vibratory bowl feeder

TL;DR: In this article, a new dynamic model is introduced for motion of the part under the effect of base excitation which is moving on or separating from a 3D spiral track, and different scenarios which may occur due to the interaction of a part and the track such as sliding and hopping are predicted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analytical model for coupled torsional-longitudinal vibrations of marine propeller shafting system considering blade characteristics

TL;DR: In this article, a non-FEM distributed-parameter model is used to derive dynamic equations of the cantilever blading and the rotating main shaft of a marine propeller shafting system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear vibration analysis of a beam subjected to a random axial force

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the random axial force on the response of an Euler-Bernoulli beam was investigated using the obtained approximate solution, which indicated that the lateral displacement of the beam is a nonstationary process.
