Composite nanofibers membranes of poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan for selective lead(II) and cadmium(II) ions removal from wastewater.

TL;DR: The nanofibers membranes fabricated by poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan (PVA/Chi) using an electro-spun technique for selective and high adsorption of lead and cadmium ions based on the solution acidity are considered to be effective and promising materials for Pb( II) and Cd(II) ions from wastewaters with high efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of CdTe thin film thickness in ZnxCd1−xS/CdTe solar cell by RF sputtering

TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of thickness of RF sputtered CdTe thin film as an absorber layer through structural and optical characterization in ZnxCd1−xS/CdTe solar cells at lower concentration of zinc (Zn).
Journal ArticleDOI

Acid-free fabrication of polyaryletherketone membranes

TL;DR: In this article , a modification-regeneration strategy was proposed to turn commercial semi-crystalline Kepstan® and PEEK into dithiolane soluble derivatives that allow the fabrication of hollow fiber, flat-sheet, and electrospun nanofibers.
