Composite nanofibers membranes of poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan for selective lead(II) and cadmium(II) ions removal from wastewater.

TL;DR: The nanofibers membranes fabricated by poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan (PVA/Chi) using an electro-spun technique for selective and high adsorption of lead and cadmium ions based on the solution acidity are considered to be effective and promising materials for Pb( II) and Cd(II) ions from wastewaters with high efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computational modelling of nanofluid flow over a curved stretching sheet using Koo–Kleinstreuer and Li (KKL) correlation and modified Fourier heat flux model

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of dispersion of nanoparticle CuO in base liquid water on the performance of flow, thermal conductivity and mass transfer using KKL model in the presence of Cattaneo-Christov heat flux and activation energy is deliberated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Double stratified analysis for bioconvection radiative flow of Sisko nanofluid with generalized heat/mass fluxes

TL;DR: In this paper, a generalized non-Newtonian nanofluid model containing the gyrotactic microorganisms was proposed to analyze the applications of porous space and inertial forces by employing the Darcy-Forchheimer relations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Activity of CoMo/γ-Al2O3 as a catalyst in hydrodesulfurization: effects of Co/Mo ratio and drying condition

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of γ-alumina-supported cobalt-molybdenum hydrodesulfurization catalysts have been prepared with different ratios of cobalt to moly bdenum (0.0-1.0) and under different drying temperatures (323, 373 and 423 K).
