Journal ArticleDOI
Layered double hydroxides as effective carrier for anticancer drugs and tailoring of release rate through interlayer anions.
Sudipta Senapati,Ravi Thakur,Shiv Prakash Verma,Shivali Duggal,Durga Prasad Mishra,Parimal Das,T. Shripathi,Mohan Kumar,Dipak Rana,Pralay Maiti +9 more
TL;DR: Observations clearly demonstrate that nitrate bound LDH nanoparticle is a potential drug delivery vehicle for anticancer drugs without any side effect.
Journal ArticleDOI
A bouquet of DNA structures: Emerging diversity
Mahima Kaushik,Shikha Kaushik,Kapil Roy,Anju Singh,Swati Mahendru,Mohan Kumar,Swati Chaudhary,Saami Ahmed,Shrikant Kukreti +8 more
TL;DR: Non-canonical structures adopted by DNA oligonucleotides which have certain prerequisites for their formation in terms of sequence, its length, number and orientation of strands along with varied solution conditions are focused on.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polyurethane-Grafted Chitosan as New Biomaterials for Controlled Drug Delivery
Arun Kumar Mahanta,Vikas Mittal,Nitesh Singh,Debabrata Dash,Sudip Malik,Mohan Kumar,Pralay Maiti +6 more
TL;DR: Molecular relaxations phenomena due to the constraint associated with the grafting have been revealed using spin–lattice relaxation tine (T1) and shifting of peak position in tan δ curve toward lower temperature in dynamic mechanical measurement at constant frequency indicating flexible nature of graft copolymers as compared to pure CHT.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toxicology and free radicals scavenging property of Tamra bhasma.
N. Pattanaik,Ajita V. Singh,Ravi S Pandey,Bakhshish Singh,Mohan Kumar,S. K. Dixit,Yamini B. Tripathi +6 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that this Ayurvedic preparation is not merely a source of copper metal, but it is a strong anti-oxidant with no detectable adverse effect in lower doses of therapeutic range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Healing effects of Musa sapientum var. paradisiaca in diabetic rats with co-occurring gastric ulcer: cytokines and growth factor by PCR amplification
TL;DR: MSE showed antidiabetic and better ulcer healing effects compared with OMZ (antiulcer) or INS (antidiabetic) in diabetic rat and could be more effective in diabetes with concurrent gastric ulcer.
