Exosome-like vesicles in uterine aspirates: a comparison of ultracentrifugation-based isolation protocols
Irene Campoy,Lucia Lanau,Tatiana Altadill,Tamara Sequeiros,Silvia Cabrera,Montserrat Cubo-Abert,Assumpción Pérez-Benavente,Angel Garcia,Salvador Borrós,Anna Santamaria,Jordi Ponce,Xavier Matias-Guiu,Jaume Reventós,Jaume Reventós,Antonio Gil-Moreno,Antonio Gil-Moreno,Marina Rigau,Eva Colas,Eva Colas +18 more
TL;DR: The Standard protocol was the best performing procedure since the other two tested protocols did not ameliorate neither yield nor purity of exosome-like vesicles, and contributes to establishing the basis for future comparative studies to foster the field of biomarker research in gynecology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Risk factors for progression or persistence of squamous intraepithelial lesions diagnosed during pregnancy.
Montserrat Cubo-Abert,Cristina Centeno-Mediavilla,Patricia Franco-Zabala,Carmen Merced-Vázquez,Josep Castellví,Ángel García,Antonio Gil-Moreno,Jordi Xercavins +7 more
TL;DR: Age of the patient older than 25 years, HSILs, and HPV type 16 infection are risk factors for the progression or persistence of intraepithelial lesions of the cervix in the postpartum period.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic performance of transvaginal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging for the preoperative evaluation of low‐grade endometrioid endometrial carcinoma: a single‐center prospective comparative study
Montserrat Cubo-Abert,Berta Díaz-Feijoo,Melissa Bradbury,Nuria-Laia Rodríguez-Mias,M. Vera,S. Pérez‐Hoyos,Juan José Gomez-Cabeza,Antonio Gil-Moreno +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the diagnostic performance of transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the prediction of deep myometrial invasion (DMI) and cervical stromal invasion (CSI) in patients with low-grade (Grade 1 or 2) endometrioid endometrial cancer (EEC) was compared.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laparoscopic Isthmocele Repair with Hysteroscopic Assistance.
Elena Suarez Salvador,M. Cecilia Haladjian,Melissa Bradbury,Montserrat Cubo-Abert,Laura Manalich Barrachina,Eva Vila Escude,Oriol Puig Puig,Antonio Gil-Moreno +7 more
TL;DR: Hysteroscopic simultaneous assistance during laparoscopic isthmocele repair can be of great help in identifying the edges of the defect, especially in large cavities and in first cases, in which edges might not be clear otherwise.
Journal ArticleDOI
