Turbulence dissipation & its induced entrainment in subsonic swirling steam injected in cocurrent flowing water
Afrasyab Khan,Mohd Sobri Takriff,Masli Irwan Rosli,Nur Tantiyani Ali Othman,Khairuddin Sanaullah,Andrew Ragai Henry Rigit,Ajmal Shah,Atta Ullah,Muhammad Umar Mushtaq +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors have investigated the effect of subsonic swirling steam induced turbulence, its dissipation, and entrainment inside the concurrent flowing water on an experimental basis, and the extent of turbulence dissipation has been measured by the rate of decrement of the smallest pressure fluctuation of amplitude 0.04 bars.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of Moisture Damage Potential in Hot Mix Asphalt Using Polymeric Aggregate Treatment
Arsalan Raza,I.N. Khan,Rana Faisal Tufail,Jana Frankovská,Muhammad Umar Mushtaq,Abdellatif Salmi,Youssef Awad,Muhammad Faisal Javed +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , two types of aggregate modifiers were used to study the effect of moisture damage on hot mix asphalt (HMA) performance and showed an improvement in dry and wet strength and stiffness.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of UF and RO for power plant's wastewater treatment and recycling for environmental sustainability
TL;DR: In this paper , a power plant's wastewater/reject mainly consisted of cooling tower blowdown water and reverse osmosis (RO) plant reject water, pretreatment was carried out to achieve SDI15 <3 by employing multimedia filters (MMF), activated carbon filters (ACF) and ultrafiltration (UF).
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of Ni-Sr/MgO-ZrO2 catalyst for CO2 reforming of methane: Effect of Sr addition
Ahmad Salam Farooqi,M. Yusuf,Noor Asmawati Mohd Zabidi,Sameen Aslam,Muhammad Umar Mushtaq,Bawadi Abdullah +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the impact of strontium on the performance of a monometallic Ni-MgO/ZrO2 catalyst was examined in the case of CO2 reforming of methane (CRM).
