Journal ArticleDOI
Nanoforest Nb2O5 Photoanodes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells by Pulsed Laser Deposition
Rudresh Ghosh,M. Kyle Brennaman,Tim Uher,Myoung Ryul Ok,Edward T. Samulski,Laurie E. McNeil,Thomas J. Meyer,Rene Lopez +7 more
TL;DR: An optimal background pressure of oxygen during deposition was found to produce a photoanode structure that both achieves high dye loading and enhanced photoelectrochemical performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface Patterning of Mesoporous Niobium Oxide Films for Solar Energy Conversion
Myoung Ryul Ok,Rudresh Ghosh,M. Kyle Brennaman,Rene Lopez,Thomas J. Meyer,Edward T. Samulski +5 more
TL;DR: The IPCE of patterned niobium oxide anodes exhibited a relative enhancement in photocurrent generation over the wavelength range corresponding to the higher absorption in optical measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Suppression of bimolecular recombination by UV-sensitive electron transport layers in organic solar cells
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that bimolecular recombination, in the form of diode current losses, controls the extracted photocurrent and is directly dependent on the electron transport layer resistivity.
