Journal ArticleDOI

New luminophors based on the binuclear helicates of d-METALS with BIS(DIPYRRIN)S

TL;DR: In this article, a review highlights recent advances devoted to new luminophores based on d -metal complexes of bis(dipyrrin)s of [M 2 L 2 ] and [Zn 2 l 2 ].
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and fluorescence of a zinc(ii) chelate complex with bis(2,4,7,8,9-pentamethyldipyrrolylmethen-3-yl)methane

TL;DR: The crystal structure and spectral properties of new Zn(ii) chelate complex with bis(2,4,7,8,9-pentamethyldipyrrolylmethen-3-yl)methane were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, 1H NMR, UV and IR spectroscopy; a sufficiently high quantum yield of fluorescence in nonpolar solvents, a longwavelength emission maximum and good photostability of the complex were demonstrated as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, spectral-luminescent properties of B(III) and Zn(II) complexes with alkyl- and aryl-substituted dipyrrins and azadipyrrins

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of complexing atom, molecular structure of dipyrrolylmethene and its aza analog on spectral-luminescent properties of heteroleptic boron(III) and homoleptic zinc(II) complexes with 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethyl-2,2′-dipyrron-lmethenes, 3, 3′, 5,5-5′ -tetraphenyl-ms-aza-2.2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regularities of the formation of binuclear homo- and heteroleptic complexes of d metals with 3,3′-bis(dipyrrolylmethenes) in DMF

TL;DR: In this paper, the reactions of seven symmetrically alkylated tetradentate ligands 3,3′-bis(dipyrrolylmethenes) (H2L) with d-metal acetates (M(AcO)2) were studied by spectrophotometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

The high sensitive and selective "off-on" fluorescent Zn2+ sensor based on the Bis(2,4,7,8,9-pentamethyldipyrrolylmethene-3-yl)methane.

TL;DR: A fluorescent chemosensor based on the 3,3′-bis(dipyrrin) bearing two chromophoric dipyrrin units was synthesized, which showed a strongly enhanced fluorescent intensity in the presence of Zn2+ ions and a high selectivity toward Zn 2+ ions over a wide range of tested metal ions in organic solvents.
