Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of stacking sequence and fiber treatment on mechanical properties of carbon-jute-banana reinforced epoxy hybrid composites
TL;DR: In this paper, the development and investigation of mechanical properties such as tensile, flexural and imbalanced properties of hybrid composites is discussed. But the authors focus on the development of a hybrid composite material with tailored properties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis and Feasibilty of Nano-Lubricant in Vapour Compression Refrigeration System
TL;DR: In this paper, nano-particles were suspended into the lubricant by means of ultrasonification and magnetic stirring to disperse the nanoparticles uniformly in the system, which helps in increasing the heat transfer characteristics of the refrigeration system hence decreasing the work done by the compressor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of a co-flowing jet with varying lip thickness and constant velocity ratio
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed CFJ with constant BR 6.3 and varying primary nozzle lip thickness (LT) to find a critical LT in CFJ below which mixing enhances and beyond which mixing inhibits.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on performance of horizontal single pass shell and multi-tube heat exchanger with baffles by air bubble injection
TL;DR: The single pass shell and multi-tube heat exchanger with double segmental baffles'' performance improvement were experimentally investigated by two methods of air injection into shell side as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental study on Al2O3 /H2O nanofluid with conical sectional insert in concentric tube heat exchanger
TL;DR: In this paper, a parallel flow heat exchanger containing conical sectional inserts with three different pitch ratios (i.e., 1, 2, and 3) in a different orientation to the flow direction of the working fluid had been constructed.
