Journal ArticleDOI

An ab initio study of sensing applications of MoB2 monolayer: a potential gas sensor.

TL;DR: The chemisorptive nature for NO2, in contrast with the relatively weaker physisorption for SO2, additionally supports the fact that NO2 gas has a better perspective for MoB2 sensor application.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural, electrical and magnetic phase evolution of Cr substituted GdMn1−xCrxO3 (0 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.2) manganites

TL;DR: A series of GdMn1−xCrxO3 (0,⩽ ǫ 0.02) has been synthesized by the conventional solid state reaction method mainly to understand the response of Cr substitution on structural, microstructural, magnetic and electrical transport properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dielectric, magnetic, and thermodynamic properties of Y1−xSrxMnO3 (x = 0.1 and 0.2)

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of strontium doping on dielectric, magnetization, and thermodynamic properties of polycrystalline Y1−xSrxMnO3 (x = 0.1, 0.2) samples prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Colossal electroresistance in Sm0.55Sr0.45MnO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported a colossal resistance drop around insulator-metal transition temperature (T MI ) in Sm 0.55 Sr 0.45 MnO 3 induced by direct current.
Journal ArticleDOI

The role of lattice distortions in determining the thermal properties of electron doped CaMnO3

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that modified RIM represents properly the nature of these perovskite manganite systems, whereas charge mismatch and buckling of Mn-O-Mn angle influence the thermal properties to a lesser degree in the ferromagnetic state.
