Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of bimetallic Au-Pd and Au-Pt nanoparticles under hydrothermal conditions and microwave irradiation.

TL;DR: It has been shown by the example of the Au-Pd system that the use of microwave irradiation allows us not only to accelerate the synthesis of particles but also to obtain more homogeneous materials in comparison with conventional heating.
Journal ArticleDOI

High Temperature Heat Capacity and Thermodynamic Properties of Tm 2 Ge 2 O 7 and TmInGe 2 O 7 in the Region of 350–1000 K

TL;DR: In this article, solid phase synthesis from stoichiometric mixtures of initial oxides through multi-stage annealing in the temperature range 1273-1473 K is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduction of aluminum oxide in a nonequilibrium hydrogen plasma

TL;DR: In this paper, a new method was proposed and experimental investigations were carried out aimed at reducing aluminum oxide in a nonequilibrium hydrogen plasma of a combined glow discharge (CGD) at a pressure of 1315.8-13,158 Pa, a discharge current of 5·10−2-3 A, and a hydrogen flow rate of 10−6−10−4 nm3/sec.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and High-Temperature Heat Capacity of Sm 2 Ge 2 O 7 and Eu 2 Ge 2 O 7

TL;DR: In this article, the molar heat capacity of these compounds (pyrochlore structure) has been determined by differential scanning calorimetry, and the C p ≥ 2.5 p (T) data have been used to evaluate the thermodynamic properties of the stannates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interaction of ultrafine palladium and platinum powders with chlorocomplexes of gold(III) under hydrothermal conditions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors synthesized ultrafine Au-Pd and AuPt powders under hydrothermal conditions, and their composition and structure were characterized under different conditions.
