Review on fiber morphology obtained by bubble electrospinning and blown bubble spinning

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the ruptured film might be stripped upwards by an electronic force to form a very thin and long plate-like strip, which might been received in the metal receiver as discontinuous backbone-like wrinkled materials, rather than smooth nanofibers or microspheres.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effects of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity on a thin film flow over a shrinking/stretching sheet

TL;DR: The effects of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity on the flow and heat transfer in a laminar liquid film on a horizontal shrinking/stretching sheet are analyzed and the results are presented graphically to interpret various physical parameters appearing in the problem.
Journal ArticleDOI

An effective modification of the homotopy perturbation method for MHD viscous flow over a stretching sheet

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified homotopy perturbation method is proposed to solve the MHD boundary-layer equations, where the viscous fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of a uniform applied magnetic field and the induced magnetic field is neglected for small magnetic Reynolds number.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fractional variational iteration method via modified Riemann–Liouville derivative

TL;DR: In this article, an efficient and reliable treatment of the variational iteration method (VIM) for partial differential equations with fractional time derivative is presented. And the obtained results are in good agreement with the existing ones in open literature and it is shown that the technique introduced here is robust, efficient and easy to implement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of modified Laplace decomposition method for solving boundary layer equation

TL;DR: In this article, the modified Laplace decomposition method (MLDM) was applied to obtain series solutions of the boundary layer equation, and the obtained series solution was combined with the diagonal Pade approximants to handle the boundary condition at infinity.
