Graph-based stochastic control with constraints: A unified approach with perfect and imperfect measurements

TL;DR: A unified framework for stochastic optimal control in the presence of constraints is presented that is applicable both in the state space (with perfect measurements) and in the information space ( with imperfect measurements).

Merging Physical Manipulatives and Digital Interface Facilitates the Transition to Abstract Knowledge

TL;DR: This paper describes how elementary school students used physical manipulatives in conjunction with the digital interface of educational software for geometry to consolidate their physical knowledge of the world and smooth the transition from the physical world to the abstract.

Hierarchical Planning With Annotated Skeleton Guidance

TL;DR: A hierarchical skeleton-guided motion planning algorithm to guide mobile robots that gradually relaxes its reliance on the workspace skeleton as $\mathcal {C}_{space}$ is sampled, thereby incrementally returning a sub-optimal path, a feature that is not guaranteed in the standard skeletons guided algorithm.

Method for automated generation of orthodontic treatment final setups

TL;DR: In this article, an automated method for generating a final setup for orthodontic treatment is presented. The method includes receiving a digital 3D model of teeth in an initial state, computes a scoring function based upon metrics related to the initial state to generate a corresponding score, perturbs the state of the teeth through translations and rotations of a tooth or set of teeth.
