Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of the Support and the Size of Gold Clusters on Catalytic Activity for Glucose Oxidation
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct deposition of gold nanoparticles onto polymer beads and glucose oxidation with H2O2.
TL;DR: The dropwise addition of NaBH4 to reduce Au(III) was found to be very effective to obtain small Au0 NPs with a narrow size distribution except for PANI, and the equimolar oxidation of glucose with H2O2 could be operated by controlling the decomposition rate of H 2O2 over Au/PMMA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deposition of gold nanoparticles on carbons for aerobic glucose oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported that small nanoparticles (NPs) can be deposited as NPs on carbon materials directly from gold precursor compounds by deposition reduction method and by solid grinding method, which is a simple technique but surprisingly effective to deposit NPs with a mean diameter as small as 1.9 nm.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for easily depositing a nano-ordered gold fine particle or gold cluster on a carrier in a short time regardless of the material of the carrier was proposed.
Patent
Method of dispersing and fixing gold fine particle on carrier, and material obtained by this method
Masaki Haruta,Tamao Ishida,Naoto Kinoshita,Kyoko Kuroda,Yuko Okatsu,裕子 大勝,正毅 春田,直人 木下,玉青 石田,杏子 黒田 +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a reducing agent is gradually added to a gold compound solution coming into contact with a carbon material, a polymeric material having no high polar functional group on the surface, or an organic-inorganic hybrid material consisting of the polymeric materials and an inorganic substance and having a content of the inorganic substances of 50 wt.% or less.
