TL;DR: A recombinant inbred line population developed using parental lines ICCV 10 and DCP 92-3 was screened under field conditions to collect information on agronomy, yield components, and stress tolerance indices and identified 28 quantitative trait loci (QTLs) explaining up to 28.40% of the phenotypic variance in the population.
Journal ArticleDOI
Applicability of HEC-RAS & GFMS tool for 1D water surface elevation/flood modeling of the river: a Case Study of River Yamuna at Allahabad (Sangam), India
TL;DR: In this article, the water surface elevation (WSE) of river Yamuna at district Allahabad near Sangam area, Uttar Pradesh, India by using the one of the latest flood monitoring tool (GFMS) which provides near real time discharge value of various streams of the world.
Book ChapterDOI
Toxicity of Food Additives
TL;DR: The main challenge is that there are no uniform guidelines on the status of these agents across the various regions or worldwide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Applicability of HEC-RAS 2D and GFMS for flood extent mapping: a case study of Sangam area, Prayagraj, India
TL;DR: In this article, a study conducted to develop and understand methodology for delineation of flood extent and identification of various flood risk zones in Prayagraj, India at the confluence of River Ganga and Yamuna (sangam).
Journal ArticleDOI
Drought Tolerance in Chickpea as Evaluated by Root Characteristics, Plant Water Status, Membrane Integrity and Chlorophyll Fluorescence Techniques
TL;DR: Under rain-fed conditions, genotypes ICCV-4958 and HC-5 had higher dry weight of stem, leaves, roots, nodules and total dry weight per plant, rooting depth, root/shoot ratio, photosynthetic and transpiration rates, photochemical efficiency and better plant water status but lower stomatal conductance than other genotypes.
