Effect of the breakup on the fusion and elastic scattering of weakly bound projectiles on Zn 64

TL;DR: In this article, the behavior of the fusion, breakup, reaction, and elastic scattering of different projectiles at near and above barrier energies was studied, and it was shown that the elastic (noncapture) breakup cross section is important at energies close to and above the Coulomb barrier.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of the 6,7 Li breakup process on the near barrier elastic scattering by heavy nuclei

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the optical model of the Woods-Saxon potential to find the energy dependence of the real and imaginary parts of the nuclear potential and observed the existence of a threshold anomaly for the elastic scattering of the 6,7, 7, and the 1.

Fusion and elastic scattering of 9 Be + 64 Zn : A search of the breakup influence on these processes

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of the breakup process of the weakly bounded light projectile (Be) on the near barrier fusion reaction and elastic scattering was investigated by two different approaches.
