Journal ArticleDOI

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary arterial hypertension: correlation of postoperative results of thromboendarterectomy with preoperative helical contrast-enhanced computed tomography.

TL;DR: Patients with CTEPH and evidence of chronic PE in the central or segmental pulmonary arteries have a better clinical outcome after pulmonary thromboendarterectomy than patients without these findings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multicentric adenocarcinoma of the lung: CT-pathologic correlation.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the sensitivity of computed tomography (CT) in detecting multicentric primary bronchogenic adenocarcinoma manifesting as a pulmonary nodule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pulmonary nodules: differential diagnosis using 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose single-photon emission computed tomography.

TL;DR: FDG SPECT imaging useful for distinguishing benign from malignant pulmonary nodules that were larger than or equal to 2 cm in diameter was found, however, because of the relatively low sensitivity of SPECT, smaller malignant nodules were not adequately revealed.
