Journal ArticleDOI
A non-invasive genetic method to identify the sympatric mustelids pine marten (Martes martes) and stone marten (Martes foina): preliminary distribution survey on the northern Iberian Peninsula
TL;DR: The combined use of non-invasive genetic sampling and GIS technology to be a reliable and cost-effective procedure for improving the knowledge of the spatial distributions of sympatric marten species is revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The European Observatory of Wildlife (EOW) as discussed by the authors used a standardised camera trapping (CT) protocol in 48 areas from 28 different countries in Europe, during the first phase of the ENETWILD project, which resulted in reliable (known precision) wild ungulate density estimates.
