Journal ArticleDOI

Transcranial magnetic stimulation and cortical evoked potentials: a TMS/EEG co-registration study.

TL;DR: The TMS evoked components obtained by recording in continuous mode strikingly fit with those already described by other authors for both their latencies and the spatio-temporal pattern of scalp distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computerized processing of EEG-EOG-EMG artifacts for multi-centric studies in EEG oscillations and event-related potentials.

TL;DR: A package including standard software for the electroencephalographic (EEG), electro-oculographic (EOG) and electromyographic (EMG) preliminary data analysis, which may be suitable to standardize the results of many EEG research centers studies, especially focused on event-related potentials is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Left frontal transcranial magnetic stimulation reduces contralesional extinction in patients with unilateral right brain damage

TL;DR: The suggestion is made that extinctions produced by right brain damage may be dependent on a breakdown in the balance of hemispheric rivalry in directing spatial attention to contralateral hemispace, so that the unaffected hemisphere generates an unopposed orienting response to the side of the lesion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Elevation of serum copper levels in Alzheimer’s disease

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied serum peroxides, copper, iron, transferrin, and antioxidant capacity in 79 patients with AD (mean age 74.3 years; 25 men, 54 women) and in 76 cognitively normal individuals (mean age 70.1 years; 33 men, 43 women).
